Healthcare sector

Pure water is good. However, sometimes not good enough.

In healthcare, you don't usually need pure water. You need the purest water. Keeping water germ-free is a major challenge in hospitals, clinics and nursing homes, because hygiene plays a very special role here. We therefore rely on complex and elaborate cutting-edge technology to meet the high demands placed on water in the healthcare sector. But we can do even more. For the therapy of chronic skin diseases, we have developed a therapy system that simulates the water and light conditions at the Dead Sea with therapy pools and irradiation. This, too, is a valuable contribution of water to human health.

Against germs, for increased safety in healthcare.

A body weakened by accident or illness needs particularly high protection. That's why water treatment in the healthcare sector is one of the biggest challenges we face at Grünbeck. For this purpose, we have developed disinfection systems that kill viruses and bacteria such as legionella and pseudomonads, as well as filter systems that not only filter out inorganic substances, but also all germs from the water.

In the healthcare sector, we use techniques such as UV irradiation, ultrafiltration, ultrasound and chlorine dioxide dosing. With them, we develop individual solutions for hospitals, the pharmaceutical industry, therapy baths and other facilities in the sector. Depending on the specific project, we plan and implement water treatment for complete buildings or individual therapy elements so that the water is, and remains, germ-free for use in hospitals and spa facilities as well as in the production of medicines, thus contributing to people's health.
