The Grünbeck sludge separator

Clean water in heating systems

In heating systems, the circulation of dirty water causes premature wear and tear and damage to components such as pumps and control valves. It also causes clogging of heat exchangers, radiators and lines, reducing the system's thermal efficiency. The sludge separator separates the coarse impurities, which mostly consist of sand and rust particles, from the water in a large decanting chamber. The dirt can thus be removed even when a system is in operation. The sludge separator is suitable for glycol-water mixtures (50 % glycol). A commercially available deaerator can be fitted.

  • Filters impurities and corrosion products from heating water
  • Suitable for glycol-water mixture (50% glycol)
  • Filtered particles can be flushed out manually during operation
  • A commercially available deaerator can be fitted
