The dirt separator filters dirt particles out of the water. In heating systems, the circulation of dirty water leads to premature wear and damage to components such as pumps and control valves. It also causes the blockage of heat exchangers, heaters and pipes, resulting in a reduction in the system's thermal effectiveness. The dirt separator separates the course impurities, most of which consist of sand and rust particles, from the water in a large decanting chamber. The dirt can therefore be removed while the system is in operation. The dirt separator is suitable for mixtures of glycol and water (50% glycol). A commercial deaerator can be fitted.
The device must be installed voltage-free. The dirt collector should be installed in pipes of the same dimension as its nominal diameter.
